My triglycerides were at 128, HDL was 42, LDL was 144 and LDL/HDL ratio was 5.0. I have been taking niacin since mid-December and had a lipid profile done on Monday. The results are total cholesterol is 166, triglycerides are 68, HDL is now 47, LDL is 105 and LDL/HDL ratio is 2.2!!! Yea me!!!
