Bio I have always been passionate about following a path that would lead me to becoming a University level professor as well as a researcher in the field of Biology. After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a major in Biology specializing in Physiology, I turned my attention towards obtaining a

Masters degree. While working with Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, I developed an interest in environmental toxicology and human health which lead me to Dr. Laurie Chan. I am currently researching the speciation of mercury as well as its effects on the Gastrointestinal tract.

Presentations Investigating the absorption of mercury in the gut. Conference: ArcticNet. Dec 2015. (Presentation)
