Being born in Ottawa of Guyanese Indian, East Indian, and European ancestry helps me to have a more global view of the world and my art reflects this synthesis as I explore the imagery common to both children books and mystic works.
I began creating art at age 5 and just never stopped. I received professional training from the Ontario College of Art and Design University with a special emphasis on digital art. I have been creating interactive art for years and it is a true passion of mine.
If I had been born 10 or even 20 years earlier, I would not be able to use the incredible technology available to artists today. The extraordinarily rapid rate of technology growth is just another artist's tool. It's as if your brush or palette is changing every year in your hand.
In a few years we will realise this is the golden age of digital animation. This is a very exciting time to be alive.
