I carry forward the Egyptian mysticism of the cat with influence from Bauhaus, Art Deco and Vasarelly. I want to make paintings that make people feel like Halloween night. After painting for my whole life, I Egyptian art, Van Gogh and 20th century Indigenous Canadian Woodland styles, but always with an eye toward Mexican folk art.
