Early adopters pay a premium so besides mere cost and performance, one must consider if this purchase would make sense in 5 years. the other things to consider is that many times and this applies to any new technology that there is something just as good but perhaps less money on the second day of market. Trying to stay ahead of new technology or even keep up and knowing how to do it is something my generation has been doing for decades and yes it is tricky.
