Eating a lot of blueberry cereal since May 15. this tiem we bought 4 pints of blueberries. they stay fresher than strawberries. just blueberries ina bowl of milk. very refreshing.
havent found a source of organic blueberries yet. organic garage is gone.
no more eating dates. too irritating ont he teeth. we've been havign date shakes. home made and from cafe. just dates, nut butter, milk, banana.
made a nice smoothie the other day from strawberries and coconut cream. added coco powder to half of it and used it as instant cold chocolate mix for a few days. preserved very well int he fridge.
the coconut milk tastes a lot like regular milk.
we've hit 2 cream sales this month, one each weekend. yay. cat drinking goat milk for weeks now. havent given her any water cuz we have so much and its her fave. also been feeding her smoked Red Fox Leicester cheese and squash. She loves it.
on our 3rd tub of mascarpone now. jsut when we were gettign tired of it we got apricots and stewed them so we got another tub. its very tasty together. could add cardamom or rose water maybe. add milk powder and form into balls.
Mascarpone is also good wtih fresh blueberries and plum jam (last years). no sugar added.
R made a diet snack too. fresh pineapple cooked and blended, and mixed with a cup of coocnut oil and half a can coconut cream. every time we're hungry, around lunch time, we eat a spoonful.
