Yesterday went to St Lawrence Market for 2nd time. we had heard about Busters seafood so we went to try it. we got the lobster roll with fries and split it, and a large clam chowder. it was all very good and there was free coleslaw which we took extra because it was also very good. cost $22 for the lobster roll, and 8 for the clam chowder. next time might try fish and chips and lobster chowder.
We tried a Grand Marnier truffle from Eve's and it wasn't that good. The pastries looked kind of old and stale. somuch selection, but no way they can keep it fresh. the other vendors had cheese and beef. 4 kinds of Wagyu. Snowdonia truffle cheese for $16, the big olives we like for $10. We got a Guernsey milk for $6, including $2 deposit. it was a pint of 10% cream. it tasted like milk, and was really good, kind of like the Jersey milk chocolate bar.
Chocosol was there but we didnt go. there was another interesting truffle place too. and blackbrid baking is coming soon. we will know next week when we go back.
