Sweet Pepper Candy Cane is a striped, elongated bell-shaped pepper that starts out green with white stripes, then matures to a full red with a whole range of colors in between! That gorgeous range, plus its beautiful variegated leaves, makes it a standout in the garden, and its sweet, mild taste makes it a standout in the kitchen. Candy Cane is best for fresh eating with your favorite veggie dip or with hummus, and it's perfect for edible ornamental plantings. The longer you leave it on the plant, the sweeter it will become! Red Candy Cane
The elongated bell peppers are sweet at the green stage or as they ripen to a striped and then solid red colour. The sweetness definitely becomes a feature when the pods are fully ripe. These fruits are thin-walled, and grow to 10cm (4”) long, and about 4cm (1½”) wide. Grow Red Candy Cane in containers or in the pepper bed — the plants were incredibly productive in our field trials, with big harvests once a week in high summer. They continued to produce right into October. the plants grow to 45-60cm (18-24”) tall.
