80 days. Deeply ribbed, intensely red fruit reaches up to 5 ounces. Firm, solid flesh and somewhat hollow seed cavity make this a star for stuffing or paste, but the ribbing also gives slices a scalloped appearance which is lovely on a plate. First grown in this country by Ann Fuller of Mitchell, Indiana, who received seed from a Sicilian man in 1987. Richly flavored, just as the Italians like their tomatoes, and stunningly beautiful!

Costoluto Genovese Tomato
The fluted, old Italian favorite that has been around since the early 19th century. Fruit is rather flattened and quite attractive with their deep ribbing. This variety is a standard in Italy for both fresh eating and preserving, and known for its intensely flavorful, deep red flesh. This variety has also become very popular with chefs in this country.

Costoluto Florentino Tomato
75-80 days. A super productive and early maturing Italian sauce and slicing tomato. The deeply ruffled fruit makes the flavorful, bright red sauce that embodies Italian cuisine. Indeterminate plants are super vigorous; an all around hardy heirloom. The unusual fruit sells itself at market. It looks so beautiful sliced on a sandwich.

Riņon Rippled Delight Tomato
EFN EXCLUSIVE. Tomatoes across the Americas are known as "Riņon", which means kidney, but the earliest in the USDA's collection came from Cuba in 1932. Already less then uniform when it was collected from the wild in Cuba, nearly a century in the USDA's collection seems to have made the government's accession of the variety even more variable. When we first grew it out, we found at least a dozen different types, ranging in size, shape, flavor, color, and vigor. With a little selection, EFN co-founder Dusty Hinz has stabilized this wonderful little tomato from the 'Riņon' genepool: a reddish-pink, flat, fasciated (deeply ribbed), flavorful and incredibly productive tomato. Grown ecologically in New Jersey by the Experimental Farm Network.

Mushroom Basket Tomato
75 days. Determinate. One of the most beautiful and attractive tomatoes we have ever grown. It is very ribbed and pleated, but otherwise very uniform, large and perfect looking, being a vibrant watermelon-pink color with cream colored speckles that really make the fruit sparkle and glisten. Short, determinate plants produce a large mass of this fruit in a thick clustered area in the center of the plant. The flavor is sweet, mild and good; flesh is firm and the seeds are very few. A favorite variety we have introduced from Russia.
