We got a trio of squash from jaggers: a small blue sweet meat type, which was good, kabocha ish, sweet, dry. not quite as sweet as kabocha. 2nd one was a carnival, which was sweet in some parts but a bit old and bland. the third was the tan or bege coloured acorn squash. we had never had before. turns out it is delicous! one of our new fave squash. very sweet flesh. tastes like maple syrup - exactly like it. fine acorn type flesh. light yellow or beige coloured flesh. so tasty.
