Saturday April 30th: Pressing and making bath bombs instore with a compounder fromt he Etbicoke factory. Bath bombs are Big Blue and Buterball, you make your choice. Event from 11-3pm. No fees for either event.

April 27, (between 4-7pm call your local shop just to double confirm) you essentially get to choose a bath bomb after consulting a employee (small range to choose from) and you can get sample of the non-refrigerated face masks. (This is to promote a new bathing app being released) no pressing on this day!!!

100 bath bombs (for each shop) will be pressed with the two options being big blue or butterball you can also get a face mask sample and some stores may have DJs playing! Have fun y’all hope this helps!!!

Basically you combine the bath bomb mixture (like blending dry ingredients for a cake) and then there are plastic molds that you pack that mixture into (like making a snowball) and then you squish each half together and let them sit 24 hours to harden and then you have a bath bomb. (YouTube should also show videos from the factories making them and it’s the same thing but in store would be smaller scale).

We tried: hairdresser husband: lemon myrtle, orane oil, lemon oil, grapefruit oil, vanilla, tonka. Amazing scent, might not be long lasting though.

tank battle: patchouli, clove, labdanum. sweet with a strange underlying tone. i discovered what the strange undertone is:patchouli! i had forgotten that it can smell super eathy, like penicillin on bread (to me) and that is the undertone. its a strong patchouli scent compared to Karma which wou can barely smell it.

American cream:

April 19: went to lush. Sprayed tank battle on my left sleeves, american cream on my right. On my scarf, dads garden honeysuckle chamomile and hairdresser husband on the other. Hubby sprayed hairdresser husband all over himself, and its wonderful. Tank battle is sweet with a strange undertone. American cream smells nice.

Got 8 samples. Minimosa x2, Buffy, buzzy mum. Lotions:handy gurugu- smells off, lovely - smells amazing, lemony flutter, repeat.

R likes blue skies fluffy white clouds. He said he wants one. What I want to try next: movis(wheatgerm, labdanum, hops), fresh farmacy(calamine, chamomile, elderflower,lavencer, tea tree, rose), coalface/charcoal(liqurice, sandalwood, rosewood). Tingle. Ros argan. Therapy, hottie. Lime bounty. dream cream. Fun. = 8/9 samples.

We had to return Flowering carrot soap due to allergic reactions. Other products causing reactions on us are: scrubee, each peach. Goddess soap and Lemon zest left a strange tingle. not overly allergic on me - yet.

The SA said she could only give a fun sample if one was opened already.

Smelled all the hand cream so far.

Lovely - I was hesitant about this because peple said it was 'powdery' and 'grandma-ish'. i went and smelled everlasting flower oil in my local health shop. i was not impressed. its a strong earthy-ish scent. not a typical floral scent.

however, i smelled Lovely in store and immediately liked it. heavy on ylang ylang, slightly sweet, yet 'powdery' floral in the best way. i should have known, if it was a lush scent, i would love it. its a beautiful wonderful smell which i smelled on my hands and from the jar over and over all night. this is a product I would definetly use regularly. my faith in Lush creative ability remained strong. In Lush We Trust.

Handy Gurugu - I was looking forawrd to experiencing this one for months. All my facourite nuts and rose water, whats not to love? Well, the SA gave me the last remaining product at the end of the huge store display tub. so it may have been oxidized and gone off. i dont know. When i got hoem ad smelled this one, it smelled off! like ld nuts. not in a good way. the next day i smelled it again - a very faint hint of rose sweetness, maybe? and no pleasant nutty smell f pistachios at all. just an old nutty smell. i think i got an old product. maybe i will try this in the future - maybe i wont. havent used it on my hands yet - ugh. i wouldnt, but mayeb for the same of review.

repeat - I smelled tis one in the store and was immediately impressed. it has such a real orange scent, so sweet and refreshing. i have orange oil and eat oranges everyday, so i had thought orange-scented balm would be plain to me. i was wrong. i really liek dthe scent. when i got home, iwas a littel confcused. i didnt smell what i did in store. its more muted. i may have gotten it mixed up with sweet wild orange. i'll have to check on my next visit.

Lemony Flutter - Such a small tub for a high price! its a very greasy lotion. i imagine it would be great for cuticles if ou let it soak in. goodbye hangnails and split skins! the scent is plain lemony. its not very strong lemoney, or sharp of fresh of sweet. its kind of muted. thats okay fr most people. the SA said that amount she gave me lasts her a year. i doubt i would be the same. it was about a teaspons worth.

we got to the store at 2.30. they said the event was over at 2pm. we didnt get t make bath bombs. i tested honeytrap and rose lolipop. the store manager told me 3 days ago theres n way to test them. well they didnt smell very strongly. maybe the testers were old. not impressed. key lime smelled very limey. the store was very busy. i asked the sa and said the carrot stick is rosey, and he said no its smells like carrots. Ive used it and I can say it is very rosy and not carroty at all. Has he even used it? I guess not. Oh well. I was beyond disappointed that we didn't get to make bath bombs. I'm probably not going to visit for a while. I did try the pink peppermint, it didn't make my hand tingle. I thought arnica would make it tingle. I smelled helping hands, I think it smelled strongly of chamomile. Hard to remember. Not a terribly intriguing scent. I tried sweet wild orange, its thick and I love it. I would definitely buy it. I sprayed plum rain on my shirt sleeves. Its an amazing scent. The petitgrain is what makes it I think. Its a kind of citrus sweet note, but not quite. Got a sample of hottie massage bar. Its not what I expected. It melts very easily on my hands, more than other bars. It smells like jasmine to me. Can't detect black pepper, ginger or vanilla. I was looking forward to a vanilla ish spicy scent. It moisturizes very well though.
