(F1) Captain Jack is an extra-large pumpkin that has an upright, barrel shape and large well rooted handles. Vigorous, large vines produce good yields of dark orange fruit, with medium ribbing, that weigh between 35-45 lbs. The fruit are thick fleshed which helps to prevent flat sides and they stand well on their own. Intermediate resistance to Powdery Mildew.
