Magda (F1)

"Cousa" type with superb flavor.
Identified as having the best flavor of any Mid-East style squash in our trials. Magda's sweet, nutty flavor is comparable to Zephyr. The blocky, pale-green, tapered fruits are usually picked small, 3-4" long, for stuffing, stir-fries, and pickling. High yielding over a long season.

Lebanese White Bush Marrow

The heirloom Italian zucchini known as Ortolana di Faenza. An Italian heirloom yields nicely shaped, light green fruits you’ll find meltingly tender, custardy and delicious–never watery or mushy. Early bearing vines with marbled leaves. 40 days.

Butta F1 Hybrid is an early yellow zucchini with expanded disease tolerance. This squash features durability and an open habit. It has creamy pale skin.

Costata Romanesco zucchini, the famous Italian/ Roman ribbed zucchini. The distinctive, long fruits are ribbed; medium green-striped skin; rich and very flavorful. With pale green ridges and darker green valleys, striped romanesco zucchini has soft, thin skin and a rich, nutty flavor. 60 days.

Cousa squash is shorter and more squat than classic zucchini, in a mix of pale and medium green striations. It has thin skin with a light texture and slightly sweet flavor.

All America Selections winner in 1949. Here’s an early bush cocozelle type, popular in Italy where they favor a rich, full-flavored zucchini. Fruits slightly club-shaped with mottled striping in olive-green and darker green. Can reach a fairly large size and still be quite tender and delicious as a summer squash. 60 days.
