The counterintuitive logic of type facees
trying to use narrow fornt fo narrow space- a narrow font is the last hting you want, becaue they cheat by usin only a small part of the 2kpx by 2kpx square, and instead use th largest font that fills the whole square, but use a smaller font size until it fits you might be surprised how much better things fit this way.

Navigating a Web Full of Ads

Pop up ads, ads that change size upon scrolling, shiftin text all over the screen, laggy scrolling have taken over every single article on the web since 2017. It's 2018 now and only gotten worse. Some mainstream sites follow a template that only lets you view a 2 inch by 4 inch gap of actual text or picture on the screen, the rest is moving, graphic, dynamic ads. Not to mention the page is reloading every 5 seconds to get new ads. When you're trying to read Globe and Mail and the advertising makes you feel like you're in a casino, something is wrong. This is also a huge problem on cooking websites.

The Solution: Look for a button that says "Print", or right click and click print. Read it from the print preview or click print to pdf and open. No ads, no silly lagging. Just. Words.
Photo resizing: add information to photo. shrink photo. use expand tool in PSP to larger image.
