What’s the difference between a program and a project? Does ArtReach fund both? A program provides instruction to participants for skill development, whereas a project is about creating a final product, typically for the primary benefit of yourself or your group/ organization/ collective.

A program may result in the creation of a final product, but the focus is on the development of artistic and personal skills for the youth participants involved.

In terms of structure, a program is often a workshop series; an intensive; creating under direct mentorship (learning while doing with strong mentorship and instruction provided throughout); or a combination of these, while projects are personal (creating an EP, a fashion line, individual portfolio), or collaborative (a magazine looking for funding for their next issue, a collective seeking for funding for their film).
