How to Heal a Stray Cat
How to Heal a Stray Cat

Ginger's Story

On a cold windy day right before a winter storm, Ginger was found. She had one eye closed, was very skinny and so malnourished she walked with her back legs hunched. On the first day she couldn't walk very much at all.

Ginger began the protocol straight away.

After a few days, she began walking normally and she opened her eye. The black coptic mange infection around the eyes and nose was almost gone. See first picture of Ginger, taken on February 13th.

CS on St Clair group: Maine coons look like that when they've been outside all winter. poor thing deserves credit for still being alive, alas the eyes are starting to go.

Here's one protocol that has worked: Into a small bowl place 1/4 cup of 18% cream, add 1 capsule of fish oil, 1 capsule of halibut liver or cod liver oil, 1 capsule of vitamin e, 2 drops of soy sauce, some nutritional yeast and some grated brazil nut or sodium selenite.

You'll have to break open the capsules and squeeze out the liquid. The eyes should clear up in 3 days, if they don't you'll need to give it more things. If you can feed it salmon and liver that will give it the best chance. That's a majestic cat and deserves a chance.
