Black Sea Man
Days: 75 Size: Determinate Color: Purple-Black Season: Mid-Season
A Russian Heirloom tomato. Tomatofest certified organic tomato seeds produce small determinant, potato-leaf plants that yield an abundant set of 12-16 ounce beautiful tomatoes that are rich mahogany colored with olive green shoulders when mature. Inside of tomato is deep, reddish green and loaded with excellent, full-bodied, complex, intense, creamy tomato flavors. This is an outstanding tomato for sandwiches and salads. Black Sea Man heirloom tomato does well growing in mid-sized containers. A great early black tomato.

Black Prince
Days: 70 Size: Indeterminate Color: Purple-Black Season: Mid-Season
Originally from Siberia, this is one of the most popular and favored black tomatoes. Originally introduced from Irkutsk, Russia and is regarded as a "true Siberian tomato" that does very well in cooler climates. Until only recently this was considered a rare variety in the United States. However, it's popularity has grown so much in Russia that there is now a company in Volograd that is producing an extract of the Black Prince called "Black Prince Tomato Oil." The Black Prince tomato is said to have considerable health benefits beyond the presence of lycopene. These deep garnet round, 2-inch (2-3 oz.) tomatoes are full of juice and incredibly rich fruity flavors. This is a tomato that chefs I deliver to rave about for it's rich flavors. The small fruits contain deep rich colors on the inside. Perfect for patio gardens. Perfect for eating fresh, and in cooking in tomato sauce, or other culinary wonders. A good canning tomato.

Blue Berries
Days: 74 Size: Indeterminate Color: Cherry Season: Mid-Season
(AKA Indigo Blue Berries) This is a new, small cherry variety from Brad Gates, Wild Boar Farms. I call it a "novelty" tomato. Our TomatoFest seeds produce sprawling plants that yield big quantities of 1/2", dark purple color (dark enough to call it "black") indicating that it is rich in anthocyanins. When fully ripe these tomatoes turn red where the fruit was shaded; and purple/black where the fruit has received the most sunshine. I've seen other reports stating that the fruit is luscious, sweet and flavorful. However, my experience is that the fruit of this variety is acidic and tart. Its bitterness masks the sweetness. Indeed, the purple/black clusters are beautiful to look at on the vine or in the bowl.

Green Zebra
Days: 75 Size: Indeterminate Color: Bi-colored Season: Mid-Season
Developed in 1985 by tomato breeder Tom Wagner, this is an unusual and exquisite green tomato chosen by Alice Waters for her restaurant, Chez Panisse, in Berkeley, California. The 2-inch round fruit ripens to a yellow-gold with dark-green zebra-like stripes. The flesh is lime-emerald in color that has an invigorating lemon-lime flavor. A great green tomato for brightening up salads and other tomato dishes. Try our Green Zebra Tomato Seeds for your tomato garden and enjoy a wonderful addition of color to your salads and sauces.

Green Sausage

Days: 78 Size: Determinate Color: Other Colors Season: Mid-Season
Bred by Tom Wagner under the name "Green Sleeves." Short bushy plant that yields abundant crop of 2-3 oz., 3-4 inch long, yellow-green, sausage shaped fruits with darker green vertical striping and a pointed tip. Good tasting 'novelty' tomato that brightens up a tomato display or salad. Also good for a wonderful tasting sauce. The sweet and tangy flavors beg for adding this to a salad of many other colored tomatoes.
