cosmos and marigold worked well last year. this year: just flowers in 3x hanging pots. cosmos, marigold and zinnia in all 3. Hanging planter #1(green): eskimo marigold, orange cosmos, white-pink zinnia. -whitepink zinnia is 2' tall. nothing worked out in this pot. Hanging planter #2(white): orange cosmos, spry marigold, profusion zinnia - spry marigold is french marigold. -profusion came up really well lots of flowers, 6" tall. now we are getting pinkish purple flowers. all same seed, it think, plant makes yellow and purple flowers! Hanging planter #3: orange cosmos, jolly jester marigold, dwarf zinnia. yellow pofusion in center - dwarf zinnia ia actually 2 ' tall. -jolly jester never came up - no profusion zinnias. Hanging planter #4: orange cosmos, eskimo marigold alternating with purple short zinnia. line of pinwheel zinnia. - pinwheel zinnia is 1' tall. eskimo is 2' tall. has white double short zinnia 6' tall. -pinwheel = short. dwarf = tall. the cosmos never came up.
